Day trip to Haarleem, Netherlands

Only 20 minutes train from Amsterdam. It is a nice little town to relax and escape the Amsterdam's busy city life.

The Google Map cached/offline map feature works perfectly! I am able to use Google with GPS and preset favorites in Netherlands without data plan. Awesome!
And, my super EVO 4G's GPS is also amazing. It's fast and very accurate.

Dinner at Jordaan area

Local fish, house white wine and carrot cake and chocolate ice cream. The best meal in this trip so far.

Windmill

Finally I found a windmill! Aparently, there is none exists in Amsterdam. I found this one in small town calls Ede, an hour train away from Amsterdam.

I'm not joking. This is a self service cafe but the food quality is very good. I ordered an organic tomato soup, ham sandwich and a beer.
